First I met up with my associate Aleric, [link] , and talked business. Then I talked with a bunch of publishers and distributors. Then I got into talking with people like Keith Knight [link] and Stephen Notley [link] .
Most of my day was wandering around the auditorium speaking with executives while progressively becoming disgusted with their demeanors and the status of what is viewed as "original." A guy called my linework "borderline terrible." Sweet.
But there were those who were vital to my progression as an artist. Speaking with folks like Scott Campbell from Double Fine was a real honor too. [link]
Oh, and Tim Schafer was cool to talk to as well. I told me about some of his writing processes when working on Grim Fandango and Full Throttle. He also told me a bit about his time at Berkley. Gave me a bunch of ideas and hope.
I couldn't stick around for the aftershow festivities due to asthma related stuff, yet I must be prepared because tomorrow will be energetic as well! Hoping to shoot the shit with Jeff Smith.
Later! Uno updates Sunday Evenings, don't forget bros!
